PTA 2750 - Seminar for Physical Therapist Assistants
Reflection:
This class was focused on preparing us for the next step. Following our schooling, the natural progression is to begin our careers as Physical Therapist Assistants. We worked on building a resume and attending a job fair where we had the opportunity to speak with potential employers. It was a good experience being able to speak with them and learning about the types of jobs that are available. We also talked about providing the best care to patients in accordance with the law and professional ethics. Our final project was based on researching for evidence based practice on a specific topic, mine being effective home exercise programs.
One of the assignments we had to complete was searching for a job listing and completing a cover letter to use along with our resume. I have included both below:
