PTA 1010 - Intro to Physical Therapy
Reflection: PTA 1010 has given me a general overview about what practicing in the field of physical therapy entails. We touched on laws and moral obligations governing PTs and PTAs. We talked about different conditions, and types of therapies used to treat them. We were also required to shadow a PT or PTA to see first hand what a successful professional in this field does. I enjoyed the class, and am now more aware of the many things I will have to learn to continue on my path to becoming a PTA. My experiences this semester have helped me to realize that this is definitely the field I would like to pursue.
